Masterchef students from a Quinton school have been given a boost after receiving a new set of professional cooking equipment.
Four Dwellings High School has scooped the chef equipment from bakery firm Warburtons and now delighted students are looking forward to cooking up a storm in the kitchen.
The donation is part of the company’s 2006 Community Commitment programme to provide charities and worthy causes in Birmingham with cooking equipment.
Jenny Cooper, school head of technology, said: “The new equipment has gone down really well with our catering and bakery students because they feel they’ve now got the professional tools to do the job.
“Warburtons has supported us in the past by providing bakers’ tops and chefs’ trousers and we appreciate the fact that they have once again stepped in to help us out.”
